# Privacy — Green Guitarist Studio 0.6.3

Green Guitarist Studio is a local Windows application by Jonathan A. Corona.

- Tabs are opened from files you choose and processed on your computer. The app does not upload tabs or maintain an online song library.
- Tuner, Live mode, and Listen & wait process the selected microphone/interface in memory while enabled. The app does not record or upload microphone audio. Capture is stopped when you close the mode or app and does not start automatically on launch.
- Preferences, window bounds, up to 20 recent file paths/names, and per-file track/position/loop choices are stored in `%APPDATA%/green-guitarist-studio-community/settings.json`. Windows/Chromium may also store local permissions, device identifiers, and cache in that profile. There are no advertising, analytics, account, or cloud-sync services in the app.
- The app uses Bluetooth only after you request a device connection. Selected note/light commands go to that device.
- The support page and supplied payment QR images are bundled locally. Ko-fi, Cash App, and the website support page open in your system browser only when you select their buttons. Zelle payments use your banking app. Your chosen provider handles the visit and payment under its own terms and privacy policy. The app passes only fixed public URLs, not your tabs, recent file paths, microphone audio, or payment information. No payment or tracking widget is embedded.
- Remove an item with × in Recent tabs to erase that saved reference/session without deleting your score. For complete local removal, close the app and remove its profile folder. A malformed settings file may have a backup; remove that too if clearing personal data. Uninstalling may leave the profile for reinstalls. The personal edition has a separate profile.

This notice covers the app's behavior, not independent Windows, driver, browser, or payment-provider services. No crash-report upload or automatic updater is configured.
